Solomon mensah Brobbey is a development economist with special interest in food security, sustaianable deits and livelihood development. In 2013 was a research fellow at the North- West University, South Africa on the project" Scoping sustaianable diets in rural south Africa- Linking nutition, food systems and the environment. I also worked in agriculture extension in Ghana.
I hold a Bechelor degree in Agriculture Technology with specialization in Economics and Extension from the University for Development studies, Tamale, Ghana. And has a master in Agricultural Economics from University of Hohenheim in Stuttgart, Germany. I am currently doctoral candidate at the Czech University of Life life Sciences, Prague. My PhD topic focuses on Neglected and Underutilised crops species and its impact on rural household economy.
My Career interest are in the application of qualitative and quantitative methodology to analyse issues in agriculture to address food and nutrition security challenges ,and poverty in developing and transition economies to promote sustainable development.
I speak fluent english, good German and is married.
