  • Plant virus, viroid, phytoplasmas, bacteria and fungi diagnosis by biological, serological and nucleic acid based assays
  •  virus transmission to woody or herbaceous hosts
  •  ELISA analysis
  •  western blot analysis
  •  isolation of RNA/mRNA/dsRNA/genomic DNA/plamid DNA/proteins
  •  PCR and RT-PCR methods
  •  electrophoresis separation of DNA/RNA/proteins
  •  non-radioactive hybridisation assay; RNA/DNA probe synthesis
  •  DNA cloning, data analysis using bio-informatical tools (Bioedit, etc.)
  •  expression of recombinant viral proteins in bacteria
