Over the past few days an ancient monster has been haunting my dreams. I am obviously talking about NASA's PDS archives, namely tabular data from Cassini probe. Its Short Burst Data Records are stored in a binary fixed-width files, which are a pain in the mars to read. I need them to compute Cassini's position relative to Titan's surface during its SAR scanning. I believe they might be useful for algorithmic interpretation of valleys on the surface of the moon. So far I have learned only how to ask for help and how to debug someone else's code in PyCharm, but hey, that still counts as something!
