His research focus are Weed Science. Main areas of interest are optimization of use of herbicides in crops, herbicide tolerant crops, herbicide behavior in soli, reproductive abilities of weeds and relationship between weeds and wide row crops. Up to now, he has dealt with five research projects financed by National Agency for Agriculture Research of the Czech Republic or by Technologic Agency of the Czech Republic.
