Agricultural Engineering is multidisciplinary oriented professional area where knowledge of mechanical engineering as material sciences, mechanics, physics, engineering technology and design of machines is essential. Through the bioscience viewpoint the direct interaction of machines with the biomass to compel the designers of agricultural machines to be familiarized with, at least, an elementary knowledge of botany and crop cultivation.  

 Environmental engineering is the integration of science and engineering principles to improve the natural environment (air, water, and/or land resources), to provide healthy water, air, and land for human habitation and for other organisms, and to remediate polluted sites. The objective of Environmental Engineering is not only to identify problems in the field of air, soil and water pollution, but also propose a suitable technology which not only solves the problem, but qualitatively upgrade the technological solutions to sustainable level.
