1989 - 90 - research worker and external teacher of Soil Physics at the Wageningen Agricultural University, the Netherlands.

1992 -  visiting  research  worker  in  USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Beltsville, MD, USA and visiting scientist of  the  University of Maryland, Faculty of Agronomy, College Park, MD, USA.

1995 – International Postgraduate Course on Hydrometeorology, WMO, Israel

1998 – 3 month study and research stay in Wageningen University, the Netherlands financed by EU Program TEMPUS

2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 – frequently lecturing abroad – the Netherlands, Greece, Denmark, Spain, Egypt, Turkey, Finland, Austria, USA, Finland

Scientific activities: Several scientific projects financed by Grant Agencies (national and international), IT projects for University education, E-learning projects, projects for the practice in the field of natural resources, hydrology, hydropedology, hydrogeology and environmental protection, supervising, expert knowledge for the court, advising service. All those activities dealing with soil science, hydrogeology, environmental protection, water management, hydrology.

In  2006 – 2008  involved in 6th FP of the Europea Union – WATERMAN

Now EU project EDUWAT in Syria and  EU-HYDI – European project – Ispra, Italy.
