  • 1982 - 1986 Studies at Czech University of Agriculture in Prague MSc (Dipl. Ing.) in Agronomy with major in Animal Physiology
  • 1994 PhD in Animal Physiology (Thesis: Interaction of Cd and As in rats)
  • 1986 - 1993 Research technician of Trace element laboratory of Dept. of Animal Physiology, Czech University of Agriculture in Prague
  • 1993 - 2005 Assistant Professor and scientist of Department of Agrochemistry and Plant Nutrition, Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague (CULS)
  • 2005-present Associate professor of Department of Agro-environmental Chemistry and Plant Nutrition, CULS

 

Research fellowship abroad:

1996, 1997, 2003, 2004 Visiting scientist at University in Graz, Austria

 Membership in Professional Societies: Ioannes Marcus Marci Spectroscopic Society.

 Current scientific activities: Instrumental analytical techniques for determination of risk elements in biological material, mobility and bio-accessibility of risk elements in soils, plant production, and particulate matter, arsenic and chromium speciation in biological materials, remediation technologies for risk element contaminated soils.
