1977-1981 Agricultural Technical School in Humpolec

1981-1985 Faculty of Agronomy of the Agricultural University in Prague; graduated with the Ing. (MSc.) degree in Crop Production

1987-1990 doctoral studies at the same faculty with focus on optimization of agricultural systems in potato production region; graduated with CSc. (PhD.) degree

2004  defended habilitation thesis and was appointed Associate Professor

2009  appointed Full Professor

2018-present appointed Head of the Department of Agroecology and Crop Production

2000-2018 appointed Head of the Department of Agroecology and Biometeorology (former Department of General Plant Husbandry and Agrometeorology), Faculty of Agrobiology, Food and Natural Resources (FAFNR)

2010-2018 appointed First Vice-Dean and Vice-Dean for International Relations and Information Systems

1991 Assistant Professor, since 2004 Associate Professor  and since 2009 Full Professor at the same Department
