Představ si, že ti z tvého dětství zbyl jen korálek v tvé dlani…
Tato instalace je inspirovaná příběhem pana Laubmeyera. On a celá jeho rodina byli roku 1946 odsunuti z jejich domovské vesnice Pila/Seeg. V obci byla výroba růžencových korálků.
Když se v devadesátých letech pan Laubmeyer mohl konečně vrátit do krajiny svého dětství našel jen zbytky původní vsi. Podařilo se mu získat korálek, který zde byl dříve nalezen. Tento korálek je tak jeho jediná památka na domov.
Drobná instalace je připomínkou všech 212 obyvatel, odsunutých z obce Grafenried/Lučina.
Za každého jeden korálek. Bílá barva symbolizuje smíření, porozumění a vzájemné odpuštění.

Imagine that all you have left from your childhood is a bead in your palm... This installation is inspired by the story of Mr. Laubmeyer. He and his entire family were displaced from their home village of Seeg / Pila in 1946. In the village there was a production of rosary beads. When Mr. Laubmeyer was finally able to return to the landscape of his childhood in the 1990s, he found only remnants of the original village. He managed to retrieve a bead that had been found there before. A product of the local factory. This bead is his only reminder of home. The small installation is a reminder of all 212 inhabitants displaced from the village of Grafenried / Lučina. One bead for each of them. The white colour symbolizes reconciliation, understanding and mutual forgiveness.
